What's the point? i mean really!

I'm not being funny here but just plz stop with the remakes I can't stand any more of them lol. You are never gonna beat the originals so don't try to. I think it's all about the money these days it's not like it was before and personally it's sad to.

As much as I enjoyed the original kickboxer it did have its flaws and could have been even better. For example I think the kidnap his brother rape his girlfriend thing went a tad too far and instead he should have just been an underdog fighting an uphill battle like Rocky in Rocky 4.

Plus he had only ONE professional fight before facing Tong Po. Would someone be able to face a world champion in anything after only ONE professional match even if they won it hands down? He should have had a montage, a SERIES of victories where he beats several Thai kickboxers before facing Tong Po.

And as awesome as the training scenes were he needed to have been doing more actual sparring. A scene where his trainer takes him back to that kickboxing school that laughed at him for wanting to be trained to beat Tong Po and he easily outmatches all of their fighters in sparring for example would have been great!

And a remake of bloodsport can be more realistic with the fights being more like MMA than the showboating we saw in the movie.
