This movie opening in movie theater or straight to DVD?
I'm guessing theater since Gina Carano is in it & I doubt she'll take a role that's straight to DVD

She did In the Blood(2014) which was a straight to DVD Flick and her upcoming projects Bus 657(2015) and Extraction (2016) sounds like straight to DVD Flicks
She is still doing straight to dvd flicks and supporting roles in Theatrical movies
I think Batista has a couple Straight to dvd flicks too,some big names ossciaonal do straight to dvd flicks even when they got upcoming big budget projects

The budget and current fame of some supporting actors suggest this will get a limited theatrical release (even in the US), and the studio may decide to go DTV or expand to a wide release from there.

shareMy guess would be a limited engagement in theaters....with a premiere on VOD the very same day. That way the studio can recoup it's $17 million budget with ease....and they wouldn't have to share revenue with theater chains....and spend anything on promotional material either.
