I really wanted to like this film but what utter rubbish.

Death matches?
Fighting with swords?
In Thailand but most of audience looked like they had come straight from a club in the US or UK.
Tong Po was as menacing as an 8yr old girl.
Kurt Sloan had the charisma of a frog. A tired frog.
Policewoman takes him after he tries to kill Tong Po. 5 minutes later he saves her life. 5 minutes later they are making out.
Van Damme is dubbed.
Having MMA fighters with no experience does not make for good viewing.
GSP confesses he's working for Po 3 minutes after infiltrating Sloans camp. Wow.
No glue on ropes to make glass stick.
Glass looks like coloured gummi bears on Po's ropes.
Guard opens cell, surely they would be aware you could hide up on the bar?
Guys walking down the street with big panes of glass.
Sloan goes from weak in training to literally super powered.
Match gets announced as 'one will die' surely most people would find that distasteful, even the most hardcore of MMA fan. Especially since they are all 20yr old clubbers.
Tong Po kills people and then just walks out in his shorts, surely they would be like, 'yeah I think we need to speak to that guy.'
Sloan kills Po. Police don't seem to have an issue with that. If anything Police woman just hangs with him after. 'Oh you know that guy I met? Yeah the one who I arrested, he broke out and then killed someone? Yeah he's my boyfriend."
When Sloan is in danger of dying in the death match, and looks to be losing. Van Damme shouting 'Get up! Get up!' like he's watching a no name UFC fight night.
Gina Carano. Hot MMA woman. In films she has no personality. As in, NO personality.

Did I mean swords? What martial arts films post 1993 have death matches in? With weapons? And in a Kickboxer remake?

These films make you want to get up and start training. Inspire you to get in shape. Kickboxer Vengeance? The only vengeance I can see are the fans expecting a Kickboxer remake and getting this rubbish.
