Gina

So, they have Gina Carano at disposal - the most interesting fighter of them all, and they don't even use her for a single action scene? I mean, WHAT THE HELL?

reply

Yeah her acting was really bad so they might as well've made use of her fighting skills.

reply

Not sure why she's in any movie ever... She's consistent terrible.

reply

She may not be a great actress but compared to the rest in this movie, she did ok. I think her acting has improved.

reply

Yeah. She wasn't as bad as everyone says. There were a lot of worse actors than her in this movie. Still, why have a fighter in a non fighting role in a martial arts movie? That's a good question.

reply

St. Pierre, Werdum and Velsquez are more interesting fighters than her. She is just a hot, tough chick that cant act.

reply

You're kidding, right? There's a ton of guys like those. But an extremely talented woman fighter with looks like these? That's rare.
Of course she's not a good actress (I'd say no one in this movie can act well), I was talking about fight scenes!

reply

I guess she ll take any acting gig as long as it pays

One more thing She must shy in front of the camera, she always sounds nervous when she talks,I hope she overcomes that

Class is Pain 101. Your instructor is Casey Jones

reply

Haven't seen the movie but doesn't she just play a fight promoter?

reply

Yes, that's exactly my point. Why don't you give her an action role, which is something she excells in? Contrary to...you know...acting.
It would be so much more interesting to watch than some of those guys.

reply

I suppose I'm one of the few who actually enjoyed Haywire. Her fight choreography was amazing with actors who aren't necessarily known for fight sequences. Her role in this film could've been given to anyone, but I guess she was hired for the MMA connection.
