Is Alain Moussi nearly charismatic as Van Damme?

Ok first off I have not watched this movie, so in my own admitance I am judging this before it's even out, but a question for those of you who have watched it and without spoiling it. Does Alain Moussi hold up onscreen if not to the level that Van Damme did in his 80's movies, but even nearly? What made Van Damme so unique was his onscreen presence and charisma, not to mention he had a unique war cry! I watched Creed, and that would've been nothing without Stallone in it, and I just feel the same is happening here all over again, would you really watch it if Van Damme wasn't in it? These big iconic stars are the reasons people are going to watch these remakes.

Moussi has no charisma whatsoever I'm afraid.

reply

Ok I didn't expect him to match Van Damme, but are you telling me has no onscreen charisma whatsoever! Well he was well cast then.

Is Alain Moussi Alan Mount's French cousin? 

The guy is young, handsome, a little bit tall (I am guessing about six feet) has a great physique and is in great shape and is a highly skilled martial artist. What the hell do you people mean by "no charisma"?

reply

Verily I say unto thee...because if he was one of ten people on the screen at the same time you'd be drawn to any one of the other nine before him.

reply

Nah Moussi has very little charisma but I would've watched it if Van Damme wasn't in it. I didn't even expect Van Damme to have as many scenes as he did. The dubbing was very disappointing though.
