Seriously? She was the least funny, less talented and uninteresting character compared to rest of her supporting cast. Even 50 cent's cameo had a bit more life than her. That's right, seeing Curtis Jackson on screen was better than McCarthy.
Honestly if Feig and McCarthy didn't have the supporting cast that they did, Spy wouldn't even be half as watchable.
Half as watchable? That crappy script didn't do anybody any favors.
The only way that movie would have been actually watchable is if they got a writer and director with actual talent or just avoid it outright and rent Spies Like Us again.
Its critcally acclaimed because Melissa sucked? Yeah right... McCarthy was funniest person in the movie. With Rose coming in second and Statham in a close 3rd. The movie wouldnt of worked if the main protaganist wasnt funny. If you dont like McCarthy's style of comedy, thats fine. But its well liked for a reason and a few people like you arent going to change that.
