terrible acting, especially by Statham

He should stick to action films, because he has no idea how to deliver comic lines. His role seemed to be to do stupid things and make outrageously funny statements and he, and the writers and director, failed at both. A lot of the rest of the cast was pretty bad too, especially the head of the unit Cooper is spying for (Chaffin?). McCarthy was OK, though her high decibel level gets annoying at times; but the rest of the cast just had no idea how to sound natural or how to use their facial expressions to sync with what they are supposedly feeling (Jude Law excepted--the only other serious actor in this film). Pretty stupid script though, so much of the blame can perhaps go to the writers.
And I was really disappointed I never saw McCarthy in a suit of gold and gold make-up, as one might reasonably expect from the publicity photo, or whatever it's called.

I can imagine it being funny if spoken the right way, but he just uses the same approach he uses in all his films = not funny.

Are you a drone? That *beep* was hilarious playing a overblown version of himself.

If I were a drone you'd be dead by now.

I found him funny in this, at first I thought he will be a serious/bada$$ character then I notice while in the room scene he seems to over exaggerate his stories, found out later that he is a joke character. Haha

I thought his performance was awesome, very over the top version of the tough guys he plays in everything else. He was one of the best parts of this movie...

Statham and Byrne were the best things about the movie. Alison Janney was funny too. That pink eye bit was hilarious. Jude Law stunk and Mcarthy had a few moments here and there.
