Other children in the attic?
Cathy finds some writing/drawings indicating that there had been other children in the attic before them. Were they also locked up there? Was it ever explained in the other books?
shareIn the book it was described as a school room with desks that had names and dates carved into the desk tops from children in the late 1800's. In the books prequel they talk about (if I remember correctly) the Foxworth children Mal, JOEL Chris Sr . and Corinne were also given lessons up there. Also Chris' mother Alicia was locked in the room connected to the attic. I was under the impression she would go up to the attic to listen to her records.
