The Powdered Doughnuts

Who actually poisoned them? The mother or the grandmother?

They both poisoned the children. Who brought the donuts? I don't see how the grandmother isn't as much complicit in this as her daughter. It sounds like her weak "warning" was mainly to assuage her guilt in continuing to serve them. Wasn't the mother actually gone on her honeymoon when the donuts first came? It's been a couple of decades since I read the books so I can't exactly remember. Who prepared the donuts every morning and sprinkled the arsenic on them? Did the mother actually get up early to set out the donuts but NOT see the children regularly? If the grandmother knew what the donuts were, who forced her to take the donuts to the children? This whole thing about the grandmother telling Corrine to take Cory to the hospital, well that still didn't happen after they left so what good did she really do there?

Lol when I hear or think about the powdered donut scene like now it just makes me hungry for donuts. The mini chocolate or powdered ones are good.

Dunkin Donuts cookie dough donuts were pretty good.

I always like the mini donuts better for some reason. Then again, I have never been a big eater and usually cannot eat a whole donut.

I like coconut crunch, glaze, cake, and chocolate doughnuts the best. But all varieties are good. Has anyone had any vegan doughnuts? I just saw the original movie from the 80's.

Its likely to be the mother.

Its that man again!!

It's heavily hinted at in the books that it was Corrine.
