Carrie

She was the only one that showed any emotion when Cory died. The lack of emotion from the other kids was baffling...

Well, we all are who we are in situations.

Cathy and Christopher were probably wondering how to get rid of Carrie next so they could screw each other. Then try to act like they do nothing wrong.

In the book, they *all* showed emotion ... surprisingly, even Corrine did. When she came to them, her eyes were red, and she couldn't even speak at first, then she kind of choked out the words that Cory had pneumonia, and the doctors had done all they could, but it was too late. And the kids all have the horrified realization of what her words mean. Cathy and Carrie both cry and sob uncontrollably, and Cathy says she sees Christopher double over (and he later tells her he felt like someone punched him the stomach) and he cries too.

I did not like the lack of reaction in this movie. It was horrible. Cory was not just Chris and Cathy's brother ... they had started to look on him as their own child. I know a huge sobbing scene may not have worked, but come on. There was actually more reaction in the 1987 one from the kids (though Corrine was a stone-cold unaffected b!tch in that scene).
