Grandmother

Two scenes stick out for me regarding the Grandmother in the 2014 movie vs. the book and original movie:
1. She gives the children a bouquet of fresh flowers for their attic garden.
2. When the children present her with their "Christmas present," she gets tears in her eyes.

This is the vibe I got from the movie as well - and I got the slight vibe from the book. I think she even got them the flowers in the book as well. In her beliefs, the children were evil and they shouldn't be alive and Corrine was a bad person for having them...but at least a small part of her wanted to love them. So we do see a few spots of her caring for them - she honestly could have just let them starve to death when Corrine was away on her honeymoon or found a way to kill them - but part of her is on board with Corrine if nothing else to put what shouldn't be in this world out of the world.

In the final book of the seriers from Olivia's point of view she had even curious of the children until Corrine brought them back. She had loved Christopher Srn and Alicia. Malcolm and circumstances changed Olivia
