That's a ridiculous thing to say. Should all movies/tv shows with subjects such as murder, rape, robbery, etc also not be shown, just incase kids see it any think it's okay?

This movie isn't even geared to kids. Children have parents who hopefully teach them what's right and what's wrong. Television can't raise them.

This movie was based on a book. Anyone who has an inkling of an idea as to what the book is about, knows that incest is one of the themes in the story. Also, kids are not the target audience for this movie. Things shouldn't be kept off of television out of fear that kids might pick things up from it. That's why they put ratings on TV programs/shows. Do you also think shows like Criminal Minds, Law & Order, etc. should be kept off of television to prevent kids from thinking that murder/rape is okay?

Whether they find life there or not, I think Jupiter should be considered an enemy planet.
Isn't that why there's such a thing as PARENTS? To TEACH kids that it is wrong? To decide if this is something that their kids should be watching?
