What do Akiva and his friends all do?
I'm almost done with Season 1 so please don't spoil me...
But in the first few episodes Akiva and his buddies seem to just "hang out". Akiva is only a temp/substitute teacher at the Cheder..... Levi Yithak seems to be a musician in th Klezmer band.....'
But they don't seem to be studying all day in a Yeshiva, nor do they have "regular jobs"..... yet they seem to have enough money to eat at the Jewish Deli with all the Kugel quite often!
Are they supposed to be a group of Haredi artist/musician types?
