Question about Gitti in final episode (spoilers inside)
I don't get how Gitti got pregnant. They say she's five weeks in? But Lippe was gone for ages? How does that work out?
shareOne of the drama's fine points is its discretion on sexual matters. It accords its characters complete privacy. Instead of referring to their sex lives it focuses on other elements in their relationship. When Lippe returns we see no physical contact with Giti. So we're shocked when we learn she's pregnant -- and that's only because she's going for an abortion. I respect the writers' discretion there, as in the possible questioning of whether Ruchami and Hanina have consummated their marriage. The writers focus on more important elements in the relationships.
