why does it seem to be available only on amazon online? I rely on subtitles since im deaf and basaed on what i read, amazon hasnt been good providing subtitles on their stream movies.

Is their plans for it to be available on dvd?

Almost certainly it will one day be on DVD. It was also released to theaters this week or so.

It usually always gets a VOD release with subs 99% of the time!
