Left out of awards
I am really surprised this movie has been left out of the awards season. I just saw it and I feel it very deserving.Also this film was unanimously praised.A nomination for that screenplay seems so worthy.
shareDidn't deserve any. Looks and feels like TV movie, nothing cinematic about it.
Also painfully inferior to other Austen adaptations that I've seen.
If you watch a truly great film like Sense & Sensibility and then this - it's just dull, thoroughly average and lacking in any true inspiration.
You really have to get out and campaign for awards. This film wasn't going to do that and I'm just glad it got made. Everyone --KB obviously-- did a wonderful job.
