The Conjuring 2 = Insidious 3 (spoilers)

I know, right off the bat you are probably posting a reply alone based off the title.
Just hear me out. (SPOILERS)


Both Movies have a mediums who notice the work they are/used to do as invited something to affect their personal lives.

Those mediums are both afraid a woman dressed in black that has a really creepy face.

A Girl needs the help of the mediums because an old man won't leave her(them) alone and is haunting them in subtly increasing ways.

Both movies have people with cameras who decide later on to come in and prove/disprove anything that is coming on.

In the end both of these "Woman dressed in black" demons end up being found out to having a connection to the old man.

Both become unafraid of this demon and defeat her and decide that continuing their work ain't so bad anymore.


Take in note I know the much smaller plot details like where it is set, the events themselves, story arch, and circumstances are different in each movie. This is something that suddenly popped out at me from no where in the shower.

I love both movies, so I am not hating on either of them.
