IMO this production is a much more faithful, detailed and interesting representation of what went on in 1977. Brilliant acting from Timothy Spall, Matthew Macfayden and the rest of the cast. The sets look authentic - Conjuring 2 shows ridiculously large rooms, we have tiny houses in England compared to what you have in the US!
Doesn't matter if you believe what happened was supernatural, or not, this production is far superior in all respects.
And the end is rather touching, I think.

If you mean the mini series then no, that was terrible lol. The acting was fine but the scares were ridiculous and laughable. I have no idea why people keep insulting this film when that mini series is no less silly than The Conjuring.

It was a far better movie.
I agree with your opinion. I like the conjuring 2 but I think the Enfield Haunting is better and is underrated. I like it much more than the conjuring 2. What I particularly liked about the Enfield Haunting is the relationship between the character's played by Timothy Spall and Eleanor Worthington cox.
