The Conjuring 3
Anyone think there will be a Conjuring 3?
shareI think there will...at least I really hope there is. Ed and Lorraine have many cases they could dive into, including spin-off films. But I think The Conjuring 3 could be based on the Smurl Family Case
shareSmurl case = woman-on-man rape scene! YAAAAAAAS!

Seeing as how the second film made over $300 million at the box office and received a lot of positive criticim, I would say that it is a safe bet that we see The Conjuring 3 in the near future. I heard in an interview that Wan wants to move the series into the 80's. Perhaps the opener could be The Haunting in Connecticut... much like Amityville Horror was the opener for part 2.
shareYou make a good point. It would be almost stupid not to do a third one. I'm sure the owners of the studio would strongly push for it.

shareSince the announcement of The Conjuring 2, fans have been talking the hound of hell / Werewolf case.
If Wan doesn't use this case, set in the 80s, i could very well see it used as the opening, or as spin-off
Werewolf all surely be the opening case with the Smurl or Connecticut one being the focus.
Did the Warrens succeed with the Smurl case? Might be a nice way to close the trilogy - the case they failed.
100% positive there will be, considering the critical and commercial success of the second one (has made over $315 million now).
shareYes, there will be. I personally think they should highlight the Smurl case from Pennsylvania or the Snedecker case from Connecticut. Another good choice would be adaptations of the books, The Devil In Connecticut or Satan's Harvest.
shareI think so, but I also think it's gonna be like Insidious 3 so even with low expectations it may be disappointing.
shareMost definitely. I hope they just the werewolf case this time. I don't know much about it, but it sounds like it could be different from the others.
