Elvis song!

Anyone else praying for it to be Can't Help Falling In Love! And it was, my favourite Elvis song!

I groaned when he picked up the guitar, but the scene wasn't to bad.

I actually liked those parts. This one definitely had a lot more too it like touching and emotional all moments

reply

Awwww.

Patrick's voice. It was a good, cute scene.

reply

It was a cute scene, but a bit unneeded and made an already bloated movie much longer. I liked that the first 'Conjuring' was leaner and meaner, without inserting so many touching moments into it. Save the cutesy stuff for Hallmark; this is a horror movie.

Still an alright movie, but it does drag a bit and it's not like we didn't already know that Patrick Wilson's character was a good guy. The scene probably should've been left on the cutting room floor, packed into the 'Deleted Scenes' feature of the eventual DVD. Or a director's cut.

I thought it was a genius idea to put that scene in the movie.

Yet, the first film didn't need scenes like this to be just as popular.

Different tastes, as they say. Thankfully there's fast-foward.

As I saw the Blue Hawaii sleeve, I thought it HAS TO BE IT!! And it was!! :D

I loved Patrick's voice. He can really sing!

reply

My family and I are big Elvis fans, so we sat there grinning like anything when he was singing, especially since Patrick has a good singing voice as well.

Debra Morgan: "Goddamn pantyhose! Has anyone ever died from crotch asphyxiation?"

reply

I don't know why some people don't like this scene, it's a quiet character moment where they have a chance to well, be human, forget about their worries with the supernatural for a moment.

Best scene in the entire movie. Solely because it is the exact scene where this movie transcended being just a good horror movie and became an honest to goodness straight up good movie that happened to be in the horror genre.
