Every so often a film or a performance comes along that has a little touch of magic to it. This is one of those films and the performance of Lake Bell is one of those performances. The word "luminous" is often used to describe the perfomance of an actress, and Lake Bell's performance is the true definition of luminous. If anyone who has actually seen this comes out of the movie theatre not feeling a warm glow inside, then there is no hope for them. By the way, did anybody else pick up on the reference to the film Spartacus?. Nobody else but me in the audience seemed to!.

I ac tually thought they were riffing on Life of Brian which obviously is spoofing Spartacus. Just seemed more likely the students were note familiar with Python to me...

She made a good attempt at being British. I had to check here to see if she was British or not and the movie was quite enjoyable. Kind of reminds me of my sad life actually in terms of relationships or lack thereof. Simon Pegg is awesome and Lake Bell just gained a fan. I like her now.

I think both Lake & Simon were absolutely brilliant and had great chemistry together. Lovely, lovely film.

A touch of Bridget Jones with a little twist of Notting Hill, the result is this adorable movie. Magic as only the British can deliver.
