I was just thinking the same thing :). I thought she did such a good job that it must be real and all these years her American accent was the fake one.

I agree on those two, but Merly Streep and Renee Zellweger can also do fine British accents.

Meryl is probably no surprise, but Renee (no matter what you think of her in general) clearly put in the preparation for her Bridget Jones role.

She's quite talented with changing her voice/accent. I was impressed here, but not really surprised after she directed and starred in (and possibly wrote?) "In a world..." where she played a voiceover artist.
