Love Lake & Simon, but this film was awkward, forced & would have been worse if those two weren't extremely talented.
Cute stroryline but script needed a massive overhaul.

This was a mess, awful language, and why does every movie now have to show a gratuitous scene in restroom of opposite sex?
If I found a couple in the ladies room while I was trying to take care of business, I'd kick their asses out to next Tuesday. Please, I like my privacy.
or Lake talking to herself in the mirror? Or wait, why did Lake have to have a British accent in the first place? Didn't make or certainly break the film!

The ending was decent and romantic and saved it, but just barely. The lead-up to it, the part that's supposed to put the "com" in rom-com, really fell flat. I didn't laugh once. Not once. For a screenwriter to have these two leads at his disposal - two genuinely talented people - and not be able to make it work is pretty amazing.

I loved it! Maybe it's not a movie for wherever you are from, but I'm in Texas with my guns and pro-Trumper attitude, and I loved it. Simple little rom-com. How pleasant not to have to think about the coming civil war and martial law. :)
