Does anyone know the name of the piano score/ song..

...about two thirds of the way through the movie when Lake Bell leaves Simon Pegg at the station and boards the train. Bonus points if you can tell me if it has ever featured in another movie. I'm sure it has but is driving me nuts trying to place it

I think you're talking about the bit where they do an instrumental version of "Where Is My Mind?" (by The Pixies). That song was most famous for being played at the end of Fight Club.

You sir/ma'am are a legend. Thank you. Upon research it seems it was also used at the end of Mr robot which was in itself a homage to fight club. Which is where I most recently heard it. Ha, I love it when the internet is used for good rather than evil!

So glad this came up. I love that piece of music but couldn't remember where I heard it. I am a fan of both Mr Robot and The Leftovers. I saw Fight Club, too, but that was a long time ago!
