The recovered book

I'm just wondering if anyone else found this puculiar, that Jessica would have left the book behind. So most would think she simply forgot it. But it did seem to mean lots to her so much so that she showed it to Nancy and suggested it. And in the tight spot they were in, the book was right in front of her, so it's hard for me to fathom how she could have forgotten it. Or do you think somehow were meant to believe it may have been intentional on Jessica's part, hoping that Nancy would take the book and have happen what did happen? Or am I just over thinking this?

It was intentional :-) she left her a note on a certain chapter. Can't remember what it says but suggests Nancy is negative and needs to change.

The note left by Jessica annoys Nancy so causes her to chase her thought she station. Jessica then buys a new book to hold.

So yeah she left it for Nancy as a way to push the book on her and get her to change. :-)

^ Exactly. She left the to give Nancy a specific message about her negativity (and, I think, because she loves the book and thinks everyone can benefit from it.) and thinks she has enough time to run directly to the bookshop to replace it in time to meet her date.

Yup, Jessica left a folded tissue with a smiley face and an arrow pointing down to the chapter she wants Nancy to read. The chapter was called "Your Negative Thoughts Are Ruining Your Life (And Everyone Else's...)". I paused it at that scene so there ya go :)

She intended for Nancy to take the book and read it. She did not intend for her to run after her and inadvertently steal her date. Duh!
