He like Simon Pegg, but is not really into romcoms. He did, however, like (500) Days of Summer and Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind.

yes, I recommend you to go ahead and watch with your BF. It is a feel good adorable romantic movie and I really liked it. Good luck.
