Oh, I sure hope so. Never has a trilogy been done so well and with such accuracy, I understand why they would do "Inferno" before "The Last Sympol" as that is the only story that takes part in the US. But I watch and read the first two over and over, and I'm reading "Inferno" to reawaken my memory to that story. But I really enjoy the combo of quality and integrity that Dan Brown, Ron Howard and Tom Hanks trio give to their movie. But after Seeing Tom Hanks in Sully, he will be a white haired Robert Langdon doing "The Lost Symbol!"

I know there are detractors about turning a fictional work based on a story built around true history and using 'literary license,' but I for one have learned more about Europe the Middle Ages, The White Knights and religious traditions (including my own). from reading Dan Brown's books than I ever got in schools or colleges or my churches catechism class. And learning through story telling is really the way everyone learned before television, movies or Internet. As a handicapped person who is bedridden, I will never see the beautiful buildings in person, but to see it in this format...both book and movie...have brought this history into my own home.

Except for the MCU's Iron Man and Captain America trilogies and Pixar's Toy Story trilogy , There are a couple of Critically acclaimed Trilogies that did well, I'll show you the list. The Before Sunset trilogy comes closest with 98%, and Dollars trilogy and The Lord of the Rings film trilogy come after with average ratings of 95% and 94% respectively, while the Toy Story trilogy has an average of an almost perfect 99.7%.

I saw an interview of Tom Hanks and Ron Howard they said that they find it hard to adapt TLS.

Why would it be hard. It is my 2nd favourite behind Angels.

We are more likely to see a film version of origin before The Lost Symbol anyway.
