The editing was simply terrible.

Just came back from it.

As expected, I liked it. It was a non-pretentious thriller and had very tense moments (especially near the end).

But wow, the editing was simply atrocious. In the first 30 minutes of the film, scenes were randomly jumping one after another and the music that was accompanying them simply got cut (without any culmination) and another track would begin for the next scene.

Also, the aspect ratio made the film look a bit cheap. I know they were trying to cut costs, but come on.

Destiny calls.

I worked on the set and I can tell you that in Florence they shot so much more, they must have had to trim it down considerably to keep it engaging or something but the first part feels so rushed you can't even enjoy what's happening, let alone care.
I also thought editing was atrocious.

I feel you completely, this film looked really cheap especially the comic sans opening titles. It felt like someone rehashed the script of Angels and Demons on a budget.
