What happened to Ignazio in th movie and how did Langdon get the mask?

I'm wondering as well, maybe it's a missing scene?

Well in the books Ignazio dies.. But in the movie, we don't know what happened to him other than it is said he's gone into hiding and Robert has the mask because they found it in the Chapel and he must've kept with him as they ran through aaaah of Florence, Venice and Istanbul.. (Stupid movie! Good book. )
