PERIDOT SINGS! 

Also, nice to see Lion making himself useful.

Watching Peridot be a fangirl on the moon base was fun, and seeing Steven bounce around and learning more about Gem history/culture (though why no White and Pink Diamond name drops?).

It was also fascinating and terrifying finally learning what Homeworld had planned for Earth. Here I thought it was the Kindergartens sucking out all the nutrients that was the problem, but it turns out they were going to terraform the whole darn planet and wipe out ALL native life! (makes scared about what they've done to other worlds...) 

Also...Peridot just made the biggest mistake of her life. Even her fans have to know that NO ONE bad mouths Big Mama Rose and gets away with it, even if she was just being thoughtless/factual.

I think she took the mid-season 2-parter with her... 

And the moment she did, I'm guessing tumblr literally exploded.

So, it looks like Australia, Iceland and West Africa would all get wiped out in the new colony. Russia has a huge hole, but Putin will probably survive because he's too damn stubborn.

You'd think they'd get some good use of the second spot. But nope, Earth would be a complete delta hub. Those (literal) rock-hearted bastards!

Anyway, t'was good although I figured for months Peridot would screw up. She'll redeem herself eventually, but for some reason I still can't see her fully joining the Crystals.

That's because he didn't do it with the team around, let alone all three of them. If they had been he'd be feeding the worm right now (if there was anything to feed off of).
(though as useless as he's been, that might've been better)

Though that was the only time Steven ever lost his temper with the snot, so that's something.

Peridot giggling on the moon base was probably the best sound I've ever heard. It's impossible to hate that precious little dork.

And she SANG! I want to hear more of her singing!

I think White and Pink Diamond weren't mentioned because they would be more significant in future Seasons.

White Diamond could possibly be of the highest authority, out-ranking the other three. Meanwhile, Pink Diamond could be associated with the Crystal Gems (and possibly Rose Quartz's true identity)

If I had to theorize, Blue Diamond was taken out in the 1st War. We see Lapis Lazuli is held captive by the Crystal Gems, leading me to believe she was under Blue Diamond's rule. Yellow Diamond now seems to be the main one attempting overtake other planets. Meanwhile, White Diamond remains on Homeworld, ruling the planet with a diamond fist.

So, that's one Diamond down, two to go, and one missing Pink Diamond (unless she now lives on in Steven).


