What, there was another episode that aired in France today?
But it's almost 2:00AM .... oh what the hell, new Steven is worth the sleep deprivation.

Oh, Mayor Dewey, you are good peoples. The boys to your left and right... not so much.

Okay, I didn't think anything would make me laugh as much as 'Hit The Diamond' (at least, not the very next episode) but here we have another hilarious episode, although with a little more warmth. Granted, that warmth emitted from Steven suffering for a whole night, then plummeting to his imminent death. Is his floating power as cool as Bubbles or Healing Spit? Not really, but it does show that Steven is going to be quite the jack-of-all-trades when he comes of age.

Bonus chuckles: Amethyst channeling Bluto, while Garnet does her best Solid Snake.

Strangely they officially released this one on youtube channel, but not the two that I assume come before it.

The only thing I didn't like about this episode is the possibility of Peridot and Lapis not being in future episodes for awhile. I get the two are now taking up shop in the Barn (aka the secondary Temple) but I was hoping they'd both become full-fledged Crystal Gems, living with the others.

I wonder if Rose's powers were controlled by her emotions or if this is just a product of Steven being half-human. We see in flashbacks that Rose has issues comprehending human emotions like love despite her being the strongest of the Crystal Gems.

Could it be that "Love Like You" is hinting that Rose is strong because she understand love but can't feel it while Steven will grow to be far stronger because he not only gets it but feels it more than most humans?



Same here. There was so much potential, especially with Lapis having just arrived. I hope they come to visit (Lapis and Peri to the temple or otherwise).

It HAS been a while since we were at the house and Beach City...

With the Cluster dealt with and Lapis & Peri settled in, it's back to slice of life silliness (and subtle depth) with the good people of Beach City for a while! 

Also got a kick out of Steven analyzing himself. I was wondering what's up with his powers too.

"It's based on my emotions! Just all my stupid powers!"

I think I'll enjoy these episodes until the next major crisis 
