The only thing missing from this homage is a battered Peridot holding up an 'OUCH' signpost... and a pig in a suit stuttering "Th-thh-that's all folks!"

... seriously, how many marshmallows were in that bag? I'm pretty sure it wasn't a King Size case. In any case, Steven got his money's worth.

Delightful bit of slapstick after the emotional rollercoaster of the last few episodes. Now that Peridot's managed her bubbling skills, she'll hopefully get closer to becoming a full-fledged Crystal Gem.

Lapis, however, remains indifferent to the goings-on, and thus remains a more hilarious character for it.

Steven has a new power he's unaware of, to replicate confectionery puff rocks.

Peridot's got stamina, not to poof all those times. That's why she the leader of the Crystal Gems.

After the drama and intensity of the last few episodes, this is exactly the kind of humorous episode we needed! 

What's more, it's the Crewniverse emulating Road Runner cartoons!  All that was need was for the monster to go "Meep-meep!" and a slide whistle when she and Pei fell! It's almost like they got the ghost of Chuck Jones as a consultant. I'm REALLY looking forward to the fan art this episode will begat. 

Makes me wonder if we'll hear from that monster again. She seemed to be trying to do something. Also, anyone else disappointed that the Crewniverse doesn't name these things anymore? What, is Centi the only one they had enough plans for to name 

I liked that when Peridot bubbled the monster and Steven told her to "send it home," it went to the barn with Lapis not the Temple or somewhere else. That means that our little Peridot has finally grown into her new life on Earth.

I agree. I thought it was cute... but do the others know that it didn't go to the temple? I always thought bubbled Gems went to the Temple by proxy, but Peri-dactyl is the new leader of the Crystal Gems, so she makes the calls.
