Future Boy Zoltron was the worst episode of the series

How do you follow quite possible the best episode of the series with THAT

First episode since the uncle grandpa crossover I ever wanted to turn off. Quite simply terrible.

I didn't think it was that bad, but it was not great. When the British guy showed up, I was like "where are the going with this?". Instead of in-joke about Sinbad no longer voicing Mr. Smiley, it really was about Smiley once being part of a comic duo.

I don't feel much love for Mr. Smiley and his old crappy machines that break easily and Steven has to pay for.

Coincidence of this guy showing up the day Smiley dug out Zoltron and Steven broke Zoltron and took his place. Yeah, it's a tv show, but still.

Frowny leaves somewhat happier, but he still leaves and so....what?

Before it aired, I think maybe I had some hope that Steven would inadvertently see something dark in the future that he wasn't sure what was.

The most it contributed was that Steven using Garnet's future vision now knows that even with the foresight there's not always a good possible outcome or a clear path to take. Or was that already covered in the blizzard episode?

In smilies defence Steven is really strong so the machine breaking could be due to that

The other redeeming aspect is that it showed that Garnet isn't as hesitant to share her futurevision with Steven as she used to be. At least there's that.

Eh, I don't have much expectations for townie fillers, so I'm cool with it. Enough amusing moments to keep me entertained.

I especially like the bits with Onion and Garnet 

The town filler is endearing, when done right.

I was never able to feel anything for Frown face though.
