Gem baby names have always been popular, though unvaried, in the English-speaking world. Pearl, Ruby and Jasper are perfectly acceptable human names. But do you think this show will spark a surge of kids named Peridot, Lapis or Garnet?

Likely it has happened before like varuca salt from Charlie and the chocolate factory inspiring lots of varuca names but I know for certain my daughter will be named peridot unless she has a twin brother

I would name my daughter Garnet tbh.
