Really liked this movie but.....

The dialogue...Illogical dialogue really gets on my nerves in any movie. Here are some examples:

Mowgli: "I'm leaving. I don't want anyone to get hurt."

5 minutes later....

Mowgli: "why do I have to go to the man village Bagheera? The wolves can protect me."

Later on I the movie:

Mowgli: "I need to go to the man village Baloo. I'm not safe here."

2 minutes later....

Mowgli: "I want to stay here with you Baloo. Don't make me go back to the man village!"

I wish Mowgli would make up his mind as to whether he is safe or in danger in the jungle!

Not trying to nitpick but I really liked the movie and I think if they would have put more thought into the dialogue it would have been even better.

This dialogue is a reflection of Mowgli's caught between two worlds dilemma.

Also, the Wolves, his family can protect him only but he is torn between protecting the other animals, and defeating Shere Khan who is his nemesis, and then his sense of needing to protect his naive and vulnerable friend Baloo. Remembering that the man village is not a safe place but is the source of the red flower, something he needs to achieve his goal.

Mowgli was so annoying. There were a couple of scenes where he was talking so much I wanted Bagheera to knock him down with a swift paw to the face. The acting was horrendous too, but I guess we should cut him some slack as he is a kid and basically the only real actor in the movie.
