It was great, sad, funny, cute and fluffy! The CGI was almost flawless. Most scenes made the jungle and the animals look incredibly real!
This is a sit back and relax type of movie and I loved it! Thank you Disney!

For me it was the worst movie of the year, 1 out of 10. So boring, too childish in some parts, voice acting was average to poor, the kid was such a bad annoying actor that you wished Shere Khan would kill him, CGI was imo good in some places awful in others, it was also too similar to the animated movie which increased the boredom cause you knew what was coming ahead.

Man, what a boring snoooozzzer this was.

There were lots of bits that weren't in the animated film, such as the end totally different to the original. Mowgli completely different character, a lot more capable and a lot lot less whining.

I was a big fan of the animated version, its soundtrack, and the comic book version that I had as a kid.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Among many strengths, what stood out for me was how well it worked dramatically -- especially considering that the source material was quite a bit lighter. I really cared about the characters and relationships. We all know that it's a story and that the characters aren't really in jeopardy, but gosh did it ever FEEL like they were in jeopardy. (I guess that means Bagheera was a jeopard. Ha. Ha.)

Great job by Jon Favreau and many other people who worked on the film.
