I never saw the face of a Tiger so ugly as I witnessed in this movie. Surely, CGI could do better than that. They seemed to have the body right, but not the face. Deadly predator, but a beautiful animal all around. Stupid King Louie segment as far as i was concerned. There is only one excellent version of this movie which was with Sabu, in 1940.

I thought the same thing about his face as I watched the movie. It would make sense to show parts of him badly scarred by fire, but it took away from the animal's powerful and deadly bearing.
His face ended up looking "too busy" and not very expressive.
