CGI garbage suitable for American audiences

we simply don't have standards this low in Europe

reply

Another post on imdb to talk trash about America. Grow up.

Most American films are garbage. Just face the facts that Hollywood's creativity for motion pictures ended at the turn of the millennium. Sure, there are one or two gems like Fury Road, Gravity, The Revenant, Dark Knight, but the directors/writers of these films are NOT American. They are Australian, Mexican and English.

American films are mostly trashy and suitable for people like you. The fact is that the rest of the world has far higher standards than your crappy Marvel/DC/Disney CGI junk, but hey you folks carry on eating garbage. Not for me thanks

"Most American films are garbage..." Um, Star Wars, The Godfather, Pirates of the Caribbean, Batman Returns, Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame? Heard of those? They're not garbage.

You're just making yourself look dumb and playing his game. His next sentence, after the one you quoted, is where he mentions that the turn of the century is when Hollywood filmmaking has gone downhill.

Pirates of the Caribbean isn't a very good movie.

Haha, Only quality comes out of Europe...Like Eurovision..You know, the most embarrassing type of music and performers on the planet!

England's the world capital for music. Must I continually school you through life? Yes, but I am not going to

Righto' Spice girls

I'm a European and I love this movie

It's A Seaweed Wrap!

This film made a lot of money in Europe. In UK where I live, it made $60M plus. So, your post isn't accurate.

reply

It is easy to deceive children and fool them into thinking they are watching quality cinema, but the truth is European and Asian animation are light years ahead in terms of story, character and animation. The production values are vastly superior to anything released by Disney CGI rubbish because in Europe and Asia they still have artists who hand draw.

The original Disney cartoon of jungle book is everything the remake isnt. I simply refuse to watch junk that numbs my brain. It is my opinion. You have yours

The animation quality in the original version is pretty bad, dude. You can see the pencil sketch marks all over the place, throughout the movie.

reply

It's also grossly dated by the weird attempt to throw in 60's hippie culture into a cartoon.

I agree with the OP to some extent about movies, but it's not just American audiences who enjoy a shallow eye-popper with no story. Lots of the rest of the world - Europe included - watch them too, and even try to make their own.

Whores will have their trinkets.

reply

good for you, but unlike most I don't watch garbage

reply

Judging something before having seen it makes you a pretentious twat. You can decide that something isn't for you, but to continue to bad mouth something you've not actually seen says a lot about your character.

reply

unlike you i have standards. Should a film not meet it, it will never be watched by me, but by people like you who exist to inform me. You have served my purpose, now move on please. Please do not reply your services are no longer required by me. Thank you.

reply

Standards? You rated these movies as a perfect 10- Salt, 30 days of night, X-men 1 and 2,Blade and many other average movies... What was that about American movies again?

reply

Did I miss something? Were we hit with a wave of British CGI that I missed?
