The color of the movie was very dull

For a movie set in the lush jungles of India, the movie's color sure was dull. Everything looks overly yellow and greyish. I don't know why the makers decided to desaturate the colors so much.

It is probably your TV or your playback equipment, on my BluRay player and my Samsung LCD TV the colors came out vivid and appropriately saturated. Plus the surround sound is good with good deep bass where it is appropriate.

The shots of the sky look overexposed which I didn't like, and the movie does have a yellow tint to it, which makes it feel hot like in the jungle, but at the same time, it flushes the green out of all the tress and plants of the junble. And it's not my blu ray player. A lot of movies are going for that overexposed sky and yellow color balance, since it has become popular in movies lately.

I have to agree. Very muted colors, probably due to the extensive use of green screen
