I don't think he's a good choice. His style definitely does not fit Aladdin. Although I did like Man From Uncle so who knows.

Who could play the Genie? It'll be a Herculean task to find an actor/actress who could live up to Robin William's portrayal.

Disney's Aladdin was loosely based on the 1940's film, The Thief of Baghdad, so if Ritchie can capture that fantasy-adventure vibe we should be in good hands.
