Makes me rethink BB and El camino. When Walt disappeared from new hampshire bar and then was roaming around albuquerque, even neighbors spoting him. How the hell he was not caught? He didn't even change up cars. Police would track that down right away.
Jesse as well. He contacted his parents even. And still slipped thru.
Jimmy was caught in a more realistic way. Walt and Jesse was a miracle.
Honestly, I felt Jimmy being caught was unrealistic. After Marion spoke into her "I've Fallen and I Can't Get Up" device it would have taken a lot longer for the police to mobilize that sort of response. Jimmy could have driven home, grabbed his stuff, and been miles out of town before an officer would even have arrived at Marion's house. Then they'd have to figure out who Saul Goodman is, where he lives, etc. They would not instantly have a dragnet up and running with cops at every street corner, and searching back alley dumpsters.

Maybe. But given the fact that Saul Goodman was already a wanted fugitive on a Fed level (+ Marion was able to get his license plate # & gave his Gene Takovich alias), it's not out of the realm of possibility for the police to mobilize an ATL (attempt to locate) fairly quickly. It's also not really clear how far away his apartment was from Marion's house.
