So Saul gets 86 years in prison (with the unlikely possibility of getting out early for good behavior) and everyone in prison respects him with high regard and he is back together with Kim as his attorney who I assume could visit him whenever she wants, but the final shot of Kim looking at Saul as the gate closes makes wonder if we are supposed to take that as the final time she ever sees Saul.
shareI didn't take it as her actually being his attorney. She said her New Mexico bar card doesn't have an expiration date so I just assumed she lied so that she could see him at that moment (technically speaking, I don't believe she's legally a lawyer anymore).
If that's the last time she sees him or if she ever moves away from Florida is left ambiguous. However, her starting to volunteer at the free legal service place at least suggests that she may be interested in pursuing law again now that some of the weight has been lifted from her conscience.
I don't understand how Kim could suddenly not be held liable in a civil lawsuit because of what Jimmy said in court.

Kim will never be able to be a lawyer again if ANYTHING having to do with the Howard scam is associated with her. Because, whatever may happen in court, she would still be denied a license by any state bar.
Now… she might be able to scam her way into it (like they did with Jimmy earlier in the show), but that would defeat the purpose. She doesn’t want to behave like that anymore.

Did he get 7 years or 86? Did he give away his 7 years when he rebuked everything in his courtroom rant? Just to keep Kim from getting prosecuted?
