So Kim ignored Mike's instructions...

He told her and Saul to just go about their business so nobody would suspect anything. Suddenly giving up your law license and leaving your husband is very suspicious behavior. It's gonna be doubly suspicious if she moves out of Albuquerque.

You've got a point there. We may still see some of the fallout of that desicion.

The way Kim talked to Howard's Wife in such a convincing manner, I believe Kim could talk her way out of any suspicions anyway, plus it's not that strange of her to do. She has often been at odds with being a Lawyer, for one the way she just up and left Schweikart & Cokely, leaving Mesa Verde behind only taking her pro bono work with her. So yeah think she could easily talk her way out of any suspicions with her quitting track record, could be a simple she saw what the Law did to Howard thing and decided she didn't want that to happen to her.

That's not including Kim leaving HHM to establish her own solo practice either, yes that was more to do first off with her being reduced to doing entry-level document review work. Then later meaningless stuff like arguing unwinnable motions in court after saving Mesa Verde for HMM and not being given credit for it (part of her angst against Howard). However, even in that it still shows Kim has a past record of being completely disenchanted with being a Lawyer and quitting, so this up and walking away from the Law from an outsiders point of view wouldn't be that odd really.
