One major plot hole in the whole Howard setup from episode 1

Lets assume for now that he's not aware of Saul and Kim's involvement with the "drug" powder in his locker. Other than him and Clifford, dozens of lawyers including Kevin Wachtell who rightfully hates Saul all saw him there making a huge number. Are we to believe that neither of those two would be told of his presence there at the same time? This is absolutely ridiculous. Of course they would have been informed of that.

But, hey for all we know, maybe it's Howard and Clifford who are tricking Saul and Kim by knowing all of this.

Up to this point Howard does not yet feel like he is being set-up. Clifford did not think the powder was Howard's. Once more incriminating events happen to Howard he will have the chance to think back and connect Saul to the powder. We do not yet know what fate befalls Howard (probably gets disgraced by Saul), but we do know that Saul gets taken down to the point where he has to flee. It will likely be either Howard or the Cartel who takes him down.
