These actors from Breaking Bad really don't age that well do they?

I mean for the sake of the continuity of the BB universe when they come back at a later date into Better Call Saul or El Camino.

Isn't that the same Latin American doctor who helped Gus in BB that is the latest returning character? I don't know if it's just me but looks like he got noticeably fatter. Still it's good that he lost some weight between now and when he appears in BB. Must have been on the Todd diet. Not so much joy for Huell who piled on the pounds.

I'm not complaining and it's understandable some will change given the difference in time but I guess they'll need to wrap it up before long unless they want to start using CGI. Mike is another one, who is looking more and more like a great grandpa each passing minute, which made it difficult to believe he could easily incapacitate and break the arm of that guy who must have been about a third his age.

It’s a distraction, but at least they make up for it with a good story and performances. The most jarring of these (for me) was Todd in El Camino. But there’s only so much to be done once the decision has been made to revisit with these characters.

Mike always looked like he was way to old to break arms.

This is what happens when you do a prequel using original actors. You just have to ignore it.

Though Saul did look older in his breaking bad debut. He was much heavier.

The worst one was Hank, based on Marie saying she wasn't gonna let him end up in a wheel chair at 43, he is supposed to be 37 or 38 when he appears in season five of BCS. Not entirely believable.

I think some of it has to do with where they are filming as well. Sun exposure ages you faster than anything and baking out in the New Mexico locations has a lot to do with their faces turning into leather.

Yes that is true. I said this myself about the Don Eladio character, who is out of everyone perhaps the worst culprit for aging between BB and BCS. All that time in the sun has given him this shrivelled, leathery appearance, to the point that it looks like he went from looking mid/late-40's to mid-60's between the two shows when there was only a 9 year gap in his appearances.

Definitely! Also, weight loss later in life gives you more wrinkles because your skin doesn’t have the same elasticity so it’s like when you shrink wrap or suck the air out of a bag, the bag is still the same size as it was it’s just closer to the meat or ‘body’ lol.
