A few years back, in Southern California.
He seemed like a pretty responsible dude IRL.

He got his start as a stand up comedian in this area, the inland part of Southern California.
Other than that, he came off as pretty low-key. Didn't stand out in any way or draw deliberate attention to himself.
It's was really just like, "Oh yeah, it's that "Badger" guy," kind of like walking in the woods, spotting an animal and going, "Oh, there goes a deer. Cool."
