I forgot about this hosts 'Archie' comic book haircut (or 'Tintin' ?) ... maybe I'm just wrapped too tight, I dunno. Wasn't it a boys fashion back in the '80s ?
Short on the sides and a 'look' as if ya spit in the palm of your hand and
pushed your hair straight up and back.
Hardwick's "brand" is "hip, young, man-of-the-people", so the haircut fits the image he's going for. I actually enjoy him immensely on his phoney-baloney game show "At Midnight".

keep the look going (not that there's anything wrong with that) but I believe it was Pee Wee Herman
of Pee Wees Playhouse fame who started the trend. I haven't seen a single male, other than this guy, sportin' that look in years ! I think I recall hearing that it was called the 'just hopped outta bed' look,
seriously - as in some females bed and on the way home or to work after the night in the sack 'look'.
Surely someone here can corroborate this.
And don't call me ...Pee Wee.
