What a bunch of clowns.
I'm not sure what this show is trying to be. Is it supposed to be funny? Like a Christopher Guest-esque, tongue in cheek look at sheltered, superstitious mountain men? Is this show being "good ol' fashioned fun" or are they really playing it straight?
I only saw the Grassman episode, but their actions and "evidence" are highly questionable.
The video of the creature was suspicious, as whoever shot the video had no reaction to seeing this "7 foot tall, 1000 lb" creature appear from behind a shed. The camera never jostled or shook, the cameraman never deviated his course. There wasn't even any sound, most likely because the person inside the monster suit was receiving directions from the cameraman.
Another eye witness describes his experience, saying he watched the monster dive into the river which he said was high. When a river is high, the ground is wet, yet the man said the ground was so dry that no tracks were left. This is not always the case, sure, but I found it quite convenient as they did too.
The man is inside a CAT digging an enormous hole in what looks like someone's backyard. Seriously, the grass was freshly cut. Isn't this creature at home in the high grasslands? If the camera did a full pan of the area, no doubt we would have seen a fire pit or highly developed trails for 4 wheeling.
Only watch if you plan to laugh at their pathetic attempts to excuse their idiocy.
