Oh, they're real alright.

I've been noticing throughout the interweb that one of the main topics of discussion revolves around whether the cast may or may not be minor actors that have so far escaped having their work cataloged on imdb. I can say that they are real enough. I've known Willie (the trap-maker) for a good many years now - he lives about 10 minutes further out the road. And Trapper is my closest neighbor in the other direction.

I hope you are appropriately embarrassed by your neighbors. If I lived in WV, I would wring their necks on behalf of my fellow citizens, especially real hunters.

reply

lol! They may not be "actors" in the strictest sense of the word (I'm sure they don't pal around with George Clooney and Sean Penn) but we know they're putting on for the cameras.

Buck is an actor.

Buck need be on a diet 1st then actor 2nd,

Them guys can get serious when needed to be, but they are fun to watch because they always doing something different, You are always watching see what they may do next, Other tv shows in same type of programing always with same boring show. That blame Bigfoot show put me asleep faster than golf on TV.

Well, that begs a question or two. Were they known for monster hunting before the show came out? What else do they do or have they done? Are they treated like celebrities?

If you deflect the topic of the thread from the show to me, our discussion is over
