Accidentally shoot each other, yet?

Really?

My bet Wild Bill would be on Las Vegas odd's like 95% to 1 as the 1st accidently pull the trigger. :)

I think the guns are usually unloaded, at least I'd hope so the way they wave them around.

If I am not mistaken, one of them that was carrying a shotgun, charged the weapon and then a couple of scenes later when they were "attacked", charged the weapon again, without firing a shot in-between. I guess it sounds good to the viewer in all the panic, but the only thing this does is wastefully drop a loaded shell, if there was one actually in the weapon, on the ground.

I kind of suspect that the show probably isn't even filmed in the order in which it's ultimately shown. The camera crew, producers and the "hunters" go out into the woods for a night or two, they film the guys hooting and hollering randomly and then it's all tied together in editing later so it's not surprising some continuity errors would creep in.

I imagine that's probably what happened. Plus, double-charging a weapon like that is not that uncommon in television and movies. It ranks up there with more shots fired than the weapon's magazine can hold, two shots from a supposedly full magazine holding the slide back and my personal favorite, throwing the empty firearm after the last shot, particularly when Superman is involved.

Another questionable aspect of Mountain Monsters is the abundance of Side-By-Sides at each location. At the beginning of each episode you see Trapper and the gang driving to their next county in an obvious Ford truck (blue oval on the grill is Greeked with gaffers tape). The truck doesn't appear to have a trailer attached. Yet, a few moments later they are driving a Side-By-Side to meet their first witness at the scene of the "incident". Some episodes have them using two Side-By-Sides.

This isn't a serious concern, as I don't take the show seriously. I just find it humorous how they tend to show up at each location with Side-By-Sides that, for all intents and purposes, magically appear from out of nowhere.

Te credits for every episode say that the show was filmed in Virginia.

Acting.. Nothing like the sound of chambering a round in a pump shotgun to get peoples attention. I think that why Police used them for years.

I think I seen Jeff with a old double barrel shotgun couple times before on the show.

Trapper appears to like them old western type 30-30 lever action guns.

Willy appears to have a old Winchester pump shotgun.

If there are really loaded, I bet they use dummy rounds for safety & Wild Bill reasons. Too many cameramen around for them to just start shooting wildly out in the dark.

If you watch the credits closely, you will see one that says that no wildlife was hunted, harmed or trapped.

That would really be fun!
